Scientific research focus:

Scientific research of Pavol Kráľ is primarily focused on the issue of project management, tactical marketing activities, strategic marketing and other selected disciplines falling into the field of business economics and management. A substantial part of his publishing activity consists of scientific publications oriented to the issues of project management (project management tool and methods, project risks, project portfolio management and optimization, etc.), marketing (marketing communication tools, customer satisfaction assessment, brand management, etc.), as an financial management (predictive bankruptcy models, financial risk management, etc.). In addition to the above, as part of scientific research activities, he deals with project financing, evaluation of the economic efficiency of public and private sector project investments, marketing management and planning, implementation of marketing analysis, formulation of marketing strategies.

In 2008, he became a member of the Project Management Association of Slovakia (SPPR) and in the years 2010-2019 he worked as a member of the Professional Group Education (OS SPPR-V), which formed a professional platform of subjects dealing with education, consulting, and research in the field of project management, supported the connection teaching of project management with application of project management in practice.

In 2018, he participated in the ESIF hackathon – presentation of a idea for improving the ESIF implementation system entitled “Rationalization of communication between the governing body and the applicant/recipient of the non-refundable financial contribution”. The submitted proposal was selected among the ten best ideas in the Slovak Republic, which advanced to development as part of the hackathon.

            Pavol Kráľ actively participated in the implementation of domestic and foreign projects of basis and applied research oriented to the field of business economic and management and projects financed by ESIF with a contribution to theory and practice.
