Doc. Ing. Katarína Janošková, PhD. in her scientific research activities, focuses primarily on the issue of innovation management in business practice, as well as on other selected questions from the field of economics and business management. The initial impetus for scientific research orientation to the issue of innovation management was her participation in the project entitled "Innovations – the way to increase competitiveness and development of regions” (since 2009). This project was the impetus for continuous engagement in the filed of innovation management in the form of research as well as pedagogical activities. In addition to the above priority area, she also focuses on issues of strategic business management, human resources management, business ethics, etc. The results of scientific research are presented in the form of original scientific works in domestic and foreign journals as well as in domestic and foreign international scientific conferences. Since the beginning of her work, she has actively participated in the organization of domestic and foreign international scientific conferences as a member of the organizational, program, and scientific committee. In the years 2008-2015, she was a member of the executive board of the scientific journal of the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Economics: EMS – Economic and Managerial Spectrum. She also used the experience from these projects to process and submit a topic for improving the ESIF implementation system entitled “Rationalization of communications between the governing body and the applicant/recipient of the non-refundable financial contribution”. The submitted proposal was selected among the ten best ideas in the Slovak Republic, which advanced to development as part of the ESIF hackathon.
