Marek Nagy, PhD., is an expert in the field of economics with extensive academic and professional background, currently working at the Department of Economics at the University of Žilina (UNIZA). In 2022, he completed his engineering degree in Financial Management, and in 2025 he successfully defended his dissertation as part of full-time doctoral studies in Business Economics and Management. Throughout his career, he has specialized in the digitalization of the economy, Industry 4.0, and its implications for business. As a lecturer, he focuses on teaching courses and seminars in risk management, financial market analysis, and financial management, with an emphasis on effectively connecting theory with practice. Marek Nagy is active in research, concentrating on contemporary economic issues and questions related to the functioning of the economy in a dynamic and globalized environment, particularly digitalization, Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, and related topics. He is the author and co-author of several scholarly articles, studies, and publications focused on digitalization, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, and its implications.
